St. Peter and Paul (Beuerberg)
The Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Beuerberg is a former Augustinian canons monastery church in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district .
Building description
The former collegiate church is a rectangular hall building, a wall pillar system with a relatively low but wide main nave, covered by a huge semi-circular barrel, on each of which there are four side chapels with transverse barrels. The retracted choir opens to the side in front of the high altar . The furnishings are rich in Baroque works of art , such as B. the high altar and the pulpit.
Building history
From 1626 the Romanesque basilica was largely rebuilt after a collapse as a baroque wall pillar system.
