The church

The Protestant village church of St. Peter and Paul is in the municipality of Oberbösa in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish area Heldrungen in Kirchenkreis Eisleben-Sömmerda the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The church for the village is said to have been built in the 13th century. Reconstruction work is documented in 1609, 1690 and in the 18th century.

The church is a hall church with a western tower structure with a curved dome and lantern since 1882. In the east is the three-sided choir closure . The staircase is built on the south side. In the hall are the stalls , the galleries , the pulpit altar and other ecclesiastical objects such as the harmonium and the lecture cross .
