history

The third Remberti Church in Bremen was built after 1737. The fourth Remberti Church was built on the same site in 1871 and destroyed in 1942 in World War II. The fifth Rembertikirche was built in 1951 in Bremen - Schwachhausen ; today the seat of the parish.

The former two-storey, plastered, five-axis house with a mansard roof , richly decorated on the front , was built around 1860 in the era of classicism / historicism on what was then the small square on the side of the third Remberti church. In 1894 there was an increase. The four-story three other sides of the house were created through a renovation. In the 1970s the building was renovated by the Bremen Society . Inside are some elements u. a. in the Louis Philippe style vestibule from the first construction period and restored by Georg Skrypsak.
Not far away, around 1834 (Rembertiring 40), the former St. Remberti pastor's house was built. After the church was destroyed and the Rembertiring road was expanded, the area around the house has changed significantly. The church sold the house because of its new location.
Today (2018) the building is used for living.
