St. Stephan (Unterweinbach)

The St. Stephan branch church is the Roman Catholic village church of Unterweinbach , a district of the community of Schönberg in Upper Bavaria . The church was built in the 15th century.

The house of God is a plastered brick building. The polygonal choir of the hall church , closed on five sides, has one yoke, the nave three. Both are separated by a very wide choir arch. Wall pillars and shield arches show chamfered edges. The net vault sits on corbels with strong, hollow-profiled ribs and round keystones.

A ridge turret is placed on the west side , the sacristy is built on the south side of the choir .
