St. Thomas was a church in Goslar , of which no visible remains have been preserved. The small hall with a turret stood east of the collegiate church of St. Simon and Judas at the beginning of the Thomasstrasse named after it .

history

The St. Thomas Church was the parish church of the Palatinate District . It was first mentioned as such in 1275. Their baptismal font from the 11th century, today in the modern St. John's Church in Goslar- Ohlhof , testifies to a much older age.

In 1524 a dispute over the occupation of the Thomas pastor was the reason for the murder of the monastery dean Diedrich Rorbeck. During the Goslar riots in 1527 , St. Thomas was looted and the pictures destroyed. After the Reformation and the abolition of the Palatinate Foundation, it was assigned to the former collegiate church ("Dom") as the new parish church.

At the beginning of the 19th century it was secluded and privately owned. It was later torn down.
