The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Ursula is a listed building in Ursulasried , a church village and part of Kempten (Allgäu) . It belongs to the parish of St. Magnus, based in the district of Lenzfried , to the parish community of Kempten-St. Ulrich in the Deanery Kempten of the Diocese of Augsburg .

The essentially late-Gothic church was mentioned in 1378, was initially under imperial city patronage , and since 1545 under Stiftkemptic patronage. The nave was expanded in 1683 and 1864. The church is surrounded by a small cemetery.

description

A three-sided chancel with a pointed arched window and a needle cap barrel, in which the ribs have been knocked out, is reminiscent of the old core structure .

The flat-roofed nave with two pointed arch window axes is extended by two window axes of the Emporenjoch from 1864. The church tower in the northern choir corner has a groin vault in the basement, is stepped on the outside against the upper floor, which closes with a profiled cornice, and carries a wooden octagonal bell floor with a pointed helmet.

The furnishings in the chancel date from 1867 - the altars are Aedicula-shaped wooden structures, the altar leaves show the Crucifixion , St. Ursula and the Annunciation . The sheets come from the year 1867 by an A. Morshäuser .
