St. Wendelin is a Roman Catholic chapel in the Freiburg district of Ebnet .

The small chapel is about 15 minutes on foot east of St. Ottilien above the Musbach valley on the small Roßkopf at an altitude of 540 m. It belongs to the parish of St. Hilarius in Ebnet . It is named after St. Wendelin , a king's son who lived as a shepherd and hermit. Wendelin is the patron saint of shepherds and flocks. According to the documents of the Capuchins , the first wooden chapel was built in 1723 and also served the Ebnet cattle herders as protection from storms. Pilgrims and pilgrims who went from Freiburg via the Roßkopf to St. Peter used this chapel for protection and prayer . The current stone chapel was financed and built in 1895 by the citizens of Ebnet. It is still looked after from Ebnet today.
