The Brest State Technical University ( Belarusian Брэсцкі дзяржаўны тэхнічны універсітэт , Russian Брестский государственный технический университет ; English Brest State Technical University BSTU ) is a university in Brest , Belarus .

In 1966 the Civil Engineering Institute was founded. In 1989 it was converted into a polytechnic institute, and since 2000 the university has had university status.

The BSTU is the largest university in western Belarus; over 4,000 students and 1,400 part-time students are trained in five faculties. The study periods for full-time study are 4 years and 10 months rsp. 5 years and 10 months for part-time studies.
