State Council (Monaco)

The Monegasque Council of State ( French Conseil d'État ) is an assembly chaired by a President , whose twelve individual members have the same official title. The Council of State of Monaco has a consultative role and is always composed of twelve members appointed by the Prince . The task of the Council of State is to draw up proposals for laws and decrees at the request of the Prince.

The current president is Laurent Anselmi , successor to Philippe Narmino , while Jean-François Landwerlin is vice-president. The Council of State has its seat on Rue Colonel Bellando de Castro in the Monaco-Ville district .
