The Stade Eugène-Pourcin is the football stadium of the Étoile Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël club, which was founded in 2009 from ES Fréjus and Stade Raphaëlois . The venue is in the southeastern French city of Fréjus in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . The stadium, built in 1947, has space for a total of 2,500 spectators. The main grandstand René Félix with a wooden roof, built in 1960, has 600 seats. The name of the stadium goes back to a former player; who died together with two other club colleagues in the Malpasset disaster in December 1959 . In July 2014, the stadium was demolished because it no longer met the standards.
