Wolfram Burisch

Wolfram Burisch (born January 22, 1941 in Berlin , † 1995 in Kassel ) was a German sociologist .

Burisch was born in 1967 at the University of Tübingen with the thesis “Ideology und Sachzwang. The de-ideologization thesis in newer social theories ” and became a research assistant to Ernst Bloch , later Ralf Dahrendorf . After teaching assignments and visiting professorships in Konstanz, Essex (UK), Berlin, Bremen and Paderborn, Burisch has been teaching educational and cultural theory , social philosophy and analytical social psychology at the University of Kassel since 1988 .

Burisch connected scientifically to the critical theory , to Sigmund Freud and Ernst Bloch.

The former SDS activist worked in the Ernst Bloch Society, the Ernst Bloch Association and the Rudi Dutschke Circle.

The Burisch estate is administered by Francesca Vidal ( University of Landau ).
