The Reinshagen stadium is a sports facility in the Reinshagen district of Remscheid . The football club VfB Marathon Remscheid , the hockey club Reinshagener Turnerbund 1910 and the football club Remscheid Amboss host their home games here. It is the second largest stadium in the Remscheid urban area and was built in 1925.
history
The FC Remscheid , who was then played among other club name, wore its home games, which also includes several games in the 2. Bundesliga, were at the stadium Reinshagen from before the club into the X-ray Stadium moved. At the U-18 European Football Championship in 1981 , the game between Sweden and Romania (1-1) was played during the group stage on May 29. The annual New Year's Eve run has been taking place here since 2003.
