Stadt + Grün is a German-language specialist magazine for landscape and open space planning as well as the press organ of the permanent conference of gardening office managers at the German Association of Cities .

The trade journal was founded in 1952 under the title Das Gartenamt and renamed Stadt + Grün in 1996. The contributions are aimed primarily at administrations that are entrusted with the planning and maintenance of public open spaces , and at universities and technical colleges that train landscape and open space planners.

The broad range of topics focuses on green design and maintenance, law and administration, as well as garden monument maintenance , professional history, training and professional biographies.

The monthly magazine is published by Patzer Verlag (Berlin, Hanover). The print edition is supplemented by the supplement Pro Baum as a specialist journal for planting, care and conservation (also a supplement to the monthly magazine Neue Landschaft ) and by the online edition of Stadt + Grün.

Since the magazine was founded, a senior editor has been responsible for the editing.
