The city magazine piste is a free, advertising-financed city magazine . It appears with its own edition in each of the cities of Hamburg , Lübeck , Schwerin , Rostock and Neubrandenburg . The piste was created from a supplement to the Lübecker Nachrichten and is published as a franchise object. The focus of the magazine is on city-related nightlife and (regional) cultural events (e.g. festivals, theater performances and concerts), movies and, depending on the issue, DVD and CD tips. Another focus is city-related news, various columns, lifestyle and jobs.
The associated website provides an overview of all regional editorial offices and offers users a variety of photos and information.
