The former town clerk's house is a citizen's palace in the old town of Freising , on Untere Hauptstrasse. The four-storey building was built in the 17th century .

Between 1725 and 1730 the building received an elaborate stucco decoration by the clerical council registrar Johann Georg Schmidt . Today it is one of the most important examples of the Rococo in Freising, along with the Ziererhaus .

Below the tail gable , a coat of arms shows Saint George with the defeated dragon at his feet. In the facade an inscription with the request to the Mother of God : MATER TER ADMIRABILIS ORA PRO NOBIS (Triple wonderful mother pray for us).
