The Stadtsparkasse Bad Sachsa was a public savings bank based in Bad Sachsa in Lower Saxony .

Business area and carrier

The business area included the city of Bad Sachsa , which was also the sponsor of the Sparkasse . Until the merger, Stadtsparkasse Bad Sachsa was the smallest independent savings bank in Germany in terms of total assets . Apart from the main office in Bad Sachsa, there were no other branches.

The Stadtsparkasse should cooperate with the Sparkassen Duderstadt , Hann. Münden and Osterode am Harz merge, the branch of the Sparkasse Bad Sachsa should be retained. Following a decision by the Duderstadt Council , the merger was canceled.

On January 1, 2020, Stadtsparkasse Bad Sachsa merged with Sparkasse Osterode am Harz .

The purpose of this foundation is to promote social, scientific and cultural purposes, environmental and nature conservation, landscape conservation, sport, education, national and vocational training, homeland care and local history, the purposes of the central associations of voluntary welfare, consumer advice and charitable and ecclesiastical purposes.
