Mickael Carreira (actually Mickael Araújo Antunes, born April 3, 1986 in Dourdan , France ) is a Portuguese pop singer, especially Latin pop .

Live and act

Born in France as the son of the entertainment singer Tony Carreira , he first appeared as a singer at his concert in Olympia (Paris) in 2001 at the age of 15 when he sang the song Filho e pai (English: father and son) with his father . In the following years he was a frequent guest singer in front of large audiences at his father's concerts, around 2002 in the Coliseu dos Recreios , or in 2006 in the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon in front of 20,000 spectators.

In 2006 Mickael Carreira released his first album, titled Mickael , which quickly topped the Portuguese charts and achieved triple platinum status . In 2007 he won a Globo de Ouro at the Globos de Ouro awards ceremony in 2007 . He also reached top chart positions with his following albums, in particular with his live album recorded in the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, which became number 1 and was also released on DVD.

His brother David Carreira (* 1991) has also become a pop singer, alongside his work as an actor.
