David Carreira (2013)

David Carreira (born July 30, 1991 in Dourdan , France ; actually David Araújo Antunes ) is a Portuguese actor and pop singer .

Life

David Carreira (actually David Araújo Antunes) was born as the son of pop singer Tony Carreira in France, five years after his brother Mickael Carreira (who would later also become a pop singer). In 2001 the entire family returned to their home country, Portugal. As a teenager he played soccer in the youth teams of Sporting Lisbon . A serious knee injury prevented another career.

He was later invited to the most important fashion shows in Portugal as a model, including Moda Lisboa and Portugal Fashion . In addition, he took up a management degree. In 2010 he was the main actor in the youth series Morangos com Açúcar . He also worked occasionally as an actor, but remained primarily a singer.

At the end of 2011 his debut album was released under the title N.1 . It was produced by the French producers Tefa and Blasta and reached number 1 on the Portuguese charts .

On his second album, A Força Está em Nós , released in 2013, he sang a. a. Duets with Snoop Dogg , Boss AC , Anselmo Ralph and Diana Chaves . He reached the second place in the Portuguese charts.
