The Stamper Peak is a 2180  m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Admiralty Mountains , it rises 16 km east-northeast of Mount Gilruth from the south-central ridge that separates the Dugdale glacier from the Ommanney glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Wilburn E. Stamper, radio operator at McMurdo Station in 1967.
