Stanislaw Akanowicz

Stanisław Akanowicz (lit. Stanislav Akanovič ; born January 26, 1935 in Vaitiešiūnai , Rajongemeinde Šalčininkai ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

In 1951 he graduated from the Jašiūnai School and in 1955 the Trakai Teachers' College, and in 1967 he studied at the Vilnius Party School . In 1955 he worked in Šalčininkai near Komsomol . From 1955 to 1957 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1960 to 1963 he was the head of the cultural department in Eišiškės . From 1966 he was deputy chairman of the executive committee of the district of Trakai and from 1982 to 1990 of the district of Vilnius . From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy at the Seimas .
