Stanislaw Przybyński
Stanisław Przybyński (born February 29, 1888 in Posen , † September 2, 1939 ibid) was a Polish officer who was awarded the "Złoty Krzyż Zasługi", the Polish Cross of Merit.
Live and act
Stanisław Przybyński was born to Brigade Admiral Hendryk Przybyński and midwife Elżbieta Cybulska. During the First World War he made a name for himself in the Polish Army , Regiment 302, as a cavalryman . During the storming of Posen in 1939, he distinguished himself through particular bravery and resistance to the advancing Wehrmacht , and thus delayed the advance of the Germans by 24 hours. In doing so he gave his life. Much of the Polish military equipment could be evacuated as a result. For this he was posthumously approved by the Polish government in exileawarded the "Złoty Krzyż Zasługi". This took place on April 3, 1942.
