Stanisław Czesław Wziątek (born November 13, 1959 in Połczyn-Zdrój ) is a Polish politician , local politician and since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.

He finished his studies at the College of Pedagogy in Bydgoszcz . From 1994 to 2001 he was the mayor of Połczyn-Zdrój. He used to be active in the Polish Socialist Student Union. He was also a member of the Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza (Polish United Workers' Party - PZPR) until it dissolved itself. On October 20, 2001 he became voivode of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (Zachodniopomorskie) and remained in this position until October 17, 2005. Since May 2001, he has been a functionary of Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (Federation of Democratic Left - SLD). In 2005 he was elected as a member of the Sejm for the Koszalin constituency via the list of this party . From November 19, 2005 to May 10, 2008 he was chairman of the SLD in the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship (West Pomerania).

In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was re-elected to the Sejm with 12,566 votes from the list of Lewica i Demokraci (Left and Democrats - LiD). He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for Environmental Protection and Deputy Chairman of the Sejm Commission for Administration and Home Affairs.

Since April 22, 2008 he has been a member of the newly established Lewica parliamentary group .
