Stanislav Ondříček
Stanislav Ondříček (born August 23, 1885 in Prague ; † July 16, 1953 there ) was a Czech violinist and music teacher.
Ondříček was the son of the conductor and violinist Jan Ondříček and, like his brothers František and Emanuel, became known as a violinist. He received his first violin lessons from his father and studied from 1899 to 1903 at the Prague Conservatory with Otakar Ševčík . After brief teaching in Zagreb, he taught at the Prague Conservatory.
Between 1908 and 1920 he worked at music schools in Tbilisi, Chișinău and Jarowslawl, and for a short time (1912) at the violin school of his brother Emanuel in New York. 1922-23 he completed a master class with Jaroslav Kocian . He then taught at the city music schools in Pardubice, Český Brod, Nymburk, Prague and finally Kolín, where he last performed as a violinist in 1953 a few months before his death.
