Stanislaw Boklan
Stanislav Volodymyrowytsch Boklan ( Ukrainian Станіслав Володимирович Боклан ; born January 12, 1960 in Krakiwschtschyna , Zhytomyr Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian film and theater actor .
Life
Stanislaw Boklan was born in the village of Krakiwschtschyna ( Краківщина ) near Brussyliw as the son of Volodymyr Arystarchowytsch Boklan and Olena Iwaniwna Boklaniw. His parents moved to Kiev with his younger brother in 1964 to work in the aviation industry. Stanislaw stayed with his grandmother in the village and attended elementary school there. He then attended the secondary school in Svyatoschyn in western Kiev.
He graduated from the Drama Faculty at the State Institute of Theater Arts in Kiev in 1984 and then worked for 10 years at the Donetsk Regional Russian Drama Theater in Mariupol . In 1994 he went back to Kiev and has been employed there at the Kiev Academic Youth Theater since then . In addition to acting, he worked for some time as a lecturer at the National University of Theater, Cinema and Television.
In the Ukrainian television series Servant of the People , he plays alongside Volodymyr Selenskyj , the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Boklan is married to the actress Natalia Klinia at the Kiev Youth Theater. His younger brother Mykola Boklan ( Микола Володимирович Боклан ; born October 13, 1963) is also an honored actor as an Honored Artist of Ukraine (2008).
