Stanislaw Fraczyk
Stanislaw "Stani" Fraczyk (born December 2, 1952 in Łódź ) is a Polish - Austrian table tennis player who won the gold medal in class 9 at the 1996 and 2004 Summer Paralympics .
Life
Born in Poland, the Polio had a leg that was five centimeters shorter from birth . Although he lacked speed and stability in his right leg due to his handicap, he and his brother Zbigniew were among the best table tennis players from the start. At the age of 28 he came to Austria in 1980 and played at the UTTC Stockerau Bundesliga from the start. Today (January 2016) he is a full-time civil servant, has set up a sports agency and is still playing successfully with the Stockerau Bundesliga and Superliga.
