Stanley Donwood

Stanley Donwood is the pseudonym of the English author and artist Dan Rickwood, who is best known for his work on the packaging design of the albums for the British rock band Radiohead .

He and front man Thom Yorke are also working consistently on the development of the band's websites. Yorke always calls himself Dr. Tchock or The White Chocolate Farm or uses similar names.

Donwood and Yorke met while studying art at the University of Exeter and won a Grammy in 2001 for packaging design for the Amnesiac Special Edition , which consisted of a red-bound book with lots of abstract and sinister illustrations.

In addition to his work with Radiohead, Donwood also has his own website where he features his own short stories and various other literary products.

Despite its popularity, its status has always given rise to speculation as to whether he and Thom Yorke are not one and the same person. However, he can be seen in the video for Fake Plastic Trees and personally took part in the presentation of the Yorke-won Grammy.
