Stare Kupiski is a village in the rural commune of Łomża in the Powiat Łomżyński of the Podlaskie Voivodeship , in north-eastern Poland .

It is located 6 km northwest of Łomża and 78 km west of the capital Białystok .

Administrative history

Until the abolition of the Gmina plain in 1954, the village belonged to the Gmina Kupiski with its seat in Łomżyca (now part of Łomża). When the Gmina plain was reintroduced in 1973, Stare Kupiski was assigned to the newly created Gmina Łomża.

1975-1998 Stare Kupiski belonged with the Gmina Łomża to the Łomża Voivodeship, until this was in 1998 in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
