Starello

The Starello was a measure of volume and area on the island of Sardinia .

Volume measure

In Cagliari it was the grain measure with about twice the amount than in Sassari . The measure was also called moggio.

Area measure

The measure was also the second name of the Starel square measure , which was also used on the island.

  • Sassari 1 Starello = 170 Palmi
