Starello

The Starello was a measure of volume and area on the island of Sardinia .

Volume measure

In Cagliari it was the grain measure with about twice the amount than in Sassari . The measure was also called moggio.

• Sassari 1 Starello = 1239 Parisian cubic inches = 24.587 liters
