Stasys Brundza

Stasys Brundza (born February 22, 1947 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian motorist, car athlete, automobile collector and politician, member of the Seimas since July 2014 .

Life

His father was Kazys Brundza (1903-1991), botanist and professor. He has sisters Elena and Konstancija (1942–1971), composer.

After graduating from high school, he graduated from 1964 to 1976 with a degree in mechanics at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas and became an engineer - mechanic in the automotive industry. From 1966 to 1968 he worked at Kauno radijo gamykla . From 1968 to 1975 he worked in Izhevsk (Russia), from 1976 to 1988 at the Vilnius Automobile Remont Plant ( Vilniaus automobilių remonto gamykla ), from 1982 to 1988 as head of sports car constructionLADA VFTS”, from 1988 to 1992 as general director at Vilniaus eksperimentinė sportinių automobilių gamykla (EVA), from 1991 representative of “Thermo King”, from 1991 to 2001 of “ Volvo Truck Corp.”, from 1992 to 2001 importer of “ Audi ” and “ Volkswagen ”. In 1998 he founded the Museum of Transport VšĮ “Stasio Brundzos Automobilių ir transporto muziejus” (with 110 cars and 20 motorcycles). From 2003 to 2004 he was council chairman of the bank “ Snoras ”, from 2007 to 2008 he was advisor to the prime minister Gediminas Kirkilas . In 2012 he was a candidate in the list of Drąsos kelias for Seimas . He has been a member of the Lithuanian Parliament since July 2014 (instead of Neringa Venckienė ).

From 1996 to 1999 and from 2004 to 2007 he was President of the Lietuvos autoverslininkų asociacija association .
