Drąsos kelias ( German : Weg des Mutes , DK for short ) is a populist party in Lithuania .
history
During the criminal proceedings of “child protector” Drąsius Kedys (1972-2010), who, according to the police, shot two people in his hometown, the social movement for the fight against pedophilia arose . Kedys's relatives (his parents, sister Neringa Venckienė and her husband) and his followers formed the core . In August 2011 a declaration for the fight against oligarchy and justice was announced and plans were made to found a political party. In January 2012 there was the inaugural meeting and in March 2012 the party was officially registered. In the parliamentary elections in Lithuania in 2012 , the party secured 7 seats.
In the 2016 parliamentary elections , the party fell to 0.27% of the vote and was no longer able to send a representative to parliament.
