State Far Better is a 2001 Stellenbosch (Province of Western Cape ) was founded, now in Johannesburg -based South African rock band .
It was formed as a student band and became known at the end of 2002 with a single containing three tracks. The following debut album as well as the singles Million Miles and Trying to Let Go reached the top of the charts.
She was on stage with Metallica and Seether (among other things as the opening act ) .
