The Hohenfelden reservoir (also: Hohenfelden reservoir ) is located about 1.5 km east of the community of Hohenfelden, southeast of Erfurt and southwest of Weimar in Thuringia ( Weimarer Land district ). The bathing lake was created from 1966 to 1975 for local recreation and has an area of ​​41.66 hectares. It has a depth of up to 7 m and is 1150 m long and 370 m wide. Its capacity is 1.08 million m³.
