The Stedener Lake is a quarry pond in Lower Saxony municipality Holste in the Samtgemeinde Hambergen in Osterholz , who as the lake is used.

The managed lake is around 3.9  hectares (elsewhere the size is given as around 3.1 hectares). The lake, which was created in 1975 when sand was extracted for the construction of Autobahn 27 , is located northwest of the district of Steden in a weekend house area surrounded by agricultural land .

The lake is completely surrounded by a sandy beach of different widths, which borders directly on the properties of the weekend houses surrounding the lake. The bathing operation is monitored by the German Life Saving Society during the bathing season . Sanitary facilities are available. In the northeast of the lake there is a children's playground on the beach, and there is also a restaurant in the immediate vicinity .
