Stefán Sigurðsson frá Hvítadal (born October 11, 1887 in Hólmavík , † March 7, 1933 in Bessatunga ) was an Icelandic poet and representative of neo-romanticism . He had a great influence on Icelandic literature. He stayed at Unuhús , which was also visited by Halldór Laxness and Þórbergur Þórðarson . He is also considered a mentor to Steinn Steinarr .
