Stefan Behnisch

Stefan Behnisch (* 1957 in Stuttgart ) is a German architect . Günter Behnisch's son first studied philosophy at the Jesuit School of Philosophy in Munich. In 1989 he founded his own office, Behnisch Architekten .

The Genzyme Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts received the LEED Award .

In 2007 Behnisch received a Global Award for Sustainable Architecture . In 2008 he was made an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects .

He has taught as visiting professor at the Yale School of Architecture , the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Virginia School of Architecture.

His sister is also an architect.
