Stefan Bielmeier

Stefan Bielmeier (born July 18, 1966 in Schweinfurt ) is a German economist and since July 2010 chief economist at DZ Bank .

Career

After completing his studies in economics at the University of Regensburg in 1996, Bielmeier was initially responsible for the creation of econometric forecast models at Deutsche Bank , later he was also responsible for economic analysis in Germany as well as the areas of asset allocation and equity strategy. Bielmeier has been Chief Economist and Head of Research and Economics at DZ BANK since 2010. As chief economist, Stefan Bielmeier regularly comments on current economic topics in almost all national business media and publishes his analyzes and forecasts on his own blog. According to the FAZ economists ranking, Stefan Bielmeier is one of the most cited economists in Germany.
