Yevgeny Igorewitsch Tjurnew ( Russian Евгений Игоревич Тюрнев ; English Evgenii Tiurnev ; born April 8, 1997 in Gatchina ) is a Russian tennis player .

Career

Yevgeny Tyurnev is mainly on the lower-class Future and Challenger Tour. He has already won six singles and three doubles on the Future Tour.

Tyurnev made his debut on the ATP World Tour in St. Petersburg in 2017 . After failing in the qualification in 2015 and 2016 , he received a wildcard for the main draw in 2017 . He lost his opening match there against Philipp Kohlschreiber with 1: 6, 3: 6.
