Stefan Butz (born September 13, 1962 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Butz began playing football in 1974 in the youth of Arminia Bielefeld . From 1981 he was a member of the Bundesliga squad. In his first season he played three games, in the following he was completely without commitment and in his last season for Arminia he played twelve times. The 1.70m tall striker never scored a goal in any of his missions. He then switched to the Westphalian league club ASC Schöppingen and was in 1986 with the ASC Westphalia champion. Butz later returned to Bielefeld and still played for SpVgg Fichte Bielefeld in the association league .
