Stefan Egger (politician)

Stefan Egger (* 1979 in Lenzing ) is a former federal managing director of NEOS and a member of its party executive .

Life

Stefan Egger studied media technology and design at the FH Hagenberg in Linz . He worked in the areas of communication and advertising at APA and oe24.at and before the National Council elections in 2013 he switched to the Liberal Forum , which entered into an electoral alliance with the NEOS. There he was responsible for the press and communications agenda. Egger also worked as an authorized signatory at the Vienna communications agency "Digitale Mediensysteme" (DMS). Egger held the position of club director until autumn 2016 (roughly equivalent to a parliamentary group manager in Germany) and was then elected federal manager of NEOS by the party board. In March 2019 it was announced that Robert Luschnik would succeed him as federal manager in July 2019.
