Stefan Feuser

Stefan Feuser (* 1977 ) is a German classical archaeologist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1997 and subsequent community service , he studied classical archeology, ancient history, and prehistory and early history from 1998 to 2004 at the University of Münster and the Humboldt University of Berlin , where he completed his Magister Artium in 2004 . During his doctoral studies (2005–2008) in Münster , he worked from 2005 to 2007 as a research assistant for the DFG project The Port of Alexandria Troas at the Asia Minor research center . After completing his doctorate in Classical Archeology in 2008 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster, the subject of the dissertation Monopodia - Figural table feet from Roman Asia Minor , he was a research assistant in the DFG project Elaia - An Aiolic Polis as a sub-center of the Hellenistic metropolis Pergamon at the German Archaeological Institute . In 2009/2010 he received a travel grant from the German Archaeological Institute . From 2010 to 2016 he was a research assistant (Classical Archeology) at the Heinrich Schliemann Institute at the University of Rostock . As a Fellow for Hellenic Studies, he conducted research in 2014/2015 at the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University in Washington, DC Since October 1, 2016, he has been teaching Classical Archeology at Christian as a W2 professor (60%) on a temporary basis (5 years) -Albrechts University of Kiel .
