Stefan Gasser

Stefan Gasser (born January 11, 1960 in Friedrichshafen ) is a judge at the German Federal Social Court .

After completing his legal training, Gasser initially entered the higher administrative service of the Free State of Bavaria . After a secondment to the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs, he became a judge at the Munich Social Court , and from 1994 at the Dresden Social Court . From 1996 to 1997 he was seconded to the Federal Social Court as a research assistant before he was appointed judge at the Regional Social Court in Chemnitz .

In 1998 he took over as director and from 2000 as president of the Dresden Social Court .

In November 2004, Gasser began his work as a judge at the Federal Social Court , in whose 6th Senate he initially worked. Since September 1, 2009 he has been Deputy Chairman of the 13th Senate.
