Social Court Munich
The Munich Social Court is a court of Bavarian social justice .
Seat and District of the Court
The social court (SG) has its seat in Munich . The judicial district includes the administrative district of Upper Bavaria .
Jurisdiction
The Munich Social Court is responsible for the first instance social justice proceedings in its district.
The Munich Social Court is also responsible for
- Affairs of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See in miners' affairs in the territory of the Free State of Bavaria
- Matters relating to the approval of doctors for contract medical care additionally in the judicial districts of the social courts Augsburg , Landshut and Regensburg
- all other contractual medical disputes (e.g. fee disputes) for the entire area of the Free State of Bavaria
- all disputes arising from the Agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria on social security .

The SG Munich is located at Richelstrasse 11 .

The higher court of the Munich Social Court is the Bavarian State Social Court in Munich. The Federal Social Court is superordinate to this .
Authority management
As successor to Renate Gürtner, Günther Kolbe was President of the Social Court in Munich until August 31, 2018. As of September 1, 2018, he has been appointed President of the Bavarian State Social Court. The succession has not yet been settled
Mediation
Since September 1, 2006, mediation can also be carried out at the Munich Social Court as part of a project following the filing of a lawsuit .
