The Ansbach Administrative Court is a court of administrative jurisdiction . It was founded in 1946 and is one of six administrative courts (VG) in the Free State of Bavaria .

Seat and District of the Court

The administrative court has its seat in Ansbach . The administrative district Middle Franconia forms the local jurisdiction of the court.

Courthouse

The VG Ansbach is located at Promenade 24–28, 91522 Ansbach . Promenade 24 was built in 1718 by Carl Friedrich von Zocha as a musicians' palace and was the seat of the district president from 1806; it is a listed building .

Superior courts

The higher court of the Ansbach Administrative Court is the Bavarian Administrative Court . The Federal Administrative Court is superordinate to this .
