Nuremberg Tax Court

The financial Nuremberg is a court of tax jurisdictions and is one of two tax courts in the State of Bavaria .

Seat and District of the Court

The Finance Court (FG) has its seat in Nuremberg and has seven senates . The judicial district extends to the administrative districts of Upper , Lower and Middle Franconia and Upper Palatinate . Around 5.2 million people live in it. Since Nuremberg was the seat of the family benefits office, Germans living abroad also sued for child benefit under the income tax law at the Nuremberg Finance Court. In this respect, the tax court is also responsible for several million Germans abroad.

The court is located at Deutschherrnstrasse 8 .

Instance move

The financial jurisdiction is structured in two stages. Therefore, according to § 2 FGO , the Nuremberg Finance Court is both a higher regional court and a court of entry in the first instance. The Federal Fiscal Court in Munich is subordinate to it .
