Stefan Hencke

Stefan Hencke (born January 3, 1962 in Birkenfeld ) is Professor of Marketing at Trier University and an entrepreneur.

Career

After serving in the German Armed Forces, Stefan Hencke studied business administration, computer science and agricultural sciences at the University of Giessen , which he obtained in 1989 as a Dipl.-Ing. completed. Further studies followed, including at the University College Falmouth , the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and the Technical University of Munich . Stefan Hencke received his doctorate in 1992 from the University of Giessen in the field of behavioral psychology. Hencke has been professor of business administration at Trier University of Applied Sciences since 2001, with a focus on marketing, communication and design management. Since 2016 he has been working as a guest lecturer at the EC campus in Karlsruhe and Mannheim.

He has been a member of the board of the German Public Relations Society since 2009, and is also the state chairman of the society in Baden-Württemberg. Since 2014 he has also been Vice President of the DPRG at the federal level, as well as a member of the German Council for PR. In 2015 he was also appointed to the Supervisory Board of Balluun AG (Foster City / Zurich).
