Stefan Jetz (born March 18, 1947 in Altötting ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Now attended elementary school and business school, trained in the middle administrative service and in the upper judicial service. From 1969 to 1986 he worked in the higher justice service.

1971 became a member of the CSU. He was local and district chairman there. He was a district councilor and city councilor in Altötting, where he was also the second mayor from 1983 to 1987 . In 2002 he became deputy district administrator of the Altötting district . In 1989 he was also a member of the Federal Assembly . From 1986 to 2003 Jetz sat in the Bavarian state parliament , always directly elected in the Altötting constituency .

Now is also the 1st chairman of the Association of King Loyal Bavaria.

On July 17, 2003 he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit .
