Stefan Klein (journalist)
Stefan Klein (* 1950 in Tecklenburg , Westphalia) is a German journalist who has worked for the Süddeutsche Zeitung for a long time .
Life
Klein worked as a local reporter for the Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) and then went to Spiegel for several years . He returned to the SZ and in 1981 went to Africa as a correspondent for the Süddeutsche Zeitung . In 1993 he went to Singapore for the SZ , and finally to Great Britain in 1998 . Since 2004 he has been chief correspondent for the Süddeutsche Zeitung .

Awards
In 1978 Klein received the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for a report on the Majdanek Trial and in 1980 for the report on Bloodsuckers in Chord .
