Stefan Kolb (born January 22, 1991 in Bayreuth ) is a German football player who plays as a center forward.
Career
Stefan Kolb learned to play football in his hometown until 2001 at Sportring and then at FSV Bayreuth . In 2007 he moved to the B youth team at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . The striker played successfully in the youth league for the Thuringians and has already had inquiries from other clubs such as the Bundesliga club Werder Bremen . He stayed in Jena and was already used several times as an A-youth in the 2009/10 season in the professional team in the 3rd division.
At the beginning of July 2010, second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth announced the commitment of Kolb. However, Jena insisted on an indefinite option clause and did not release the player, whereupon he was not allowed to play by the football association. Only after a labor court ruling at the beginning of October 2010 was the clause declared ineffective and the change between the clubs finally completed. After he suffered from a protracted ankle injury in the second half of the season, he only made eleven appearances in the regional league team and was not used in the professional team.
In 2012 he moved to SpVgg Bayreuth in his hometown . In August 2016 he joined the sixth division from the Bayern Nordost regional league , TSV Neudrossenfeld .
