Stefan Kostow

Stefan Lasarow Kostow ( Bulgarian Стефан Лазаров Костов ; born March 30, 1879 in Sofia ; † April 27, 1939 ibid) was a Bulgarian playwright and ethnographer .

He studied Slavic Studies . In 1906 he founded the Ethnographic Museum in Sofia, where he was director until his death. He has also written a variety of comedies . He was one of the most successful comedy writers in Bulgaria.
