Stefan March

Stefan März (born February 20, 1980 in Marktoberdorf ) is a German science manager, historian and author.

Life

Stefan März studied modern and contemporary history, medieval history and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and at the University of Paris-Sorbonne . He received his doctorate in 2012 with the work “Das Haus Wittelsbach in the First World War” supervised by Martin H. Geyer , which was funded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation .

März works as a science manager in the field of science and technology research at the Munich Center for Technology in Society at the Technical University of Munich . He also works as a historian. His research and publication focus is on German and Bavarian history in the 19th and 20th centuries.

He published biographies on Bavaria's last King Ludwig III at Verlag Friedrich Pustet . and to the Bavarian Prime Minister Alfons Goppel . He was an interview partner on the ZDF documentary Royal Dynasties: The Wittelsbachers .
